If so, it couldn’t be easier. Here is a step by step guide to help you on your way.

1. The first thing to do is create an account with us, once that is done you will then get the option to ‘rent your vehicle.’
2. Fill out the form within that page and upload as many images as you’d like – the more images you have the easier it is for people to visualise themselves enjoying your beloved campervan/motorhome.
3. Once the form has been completed, we will send you an email asking for details of your MOT, tax, insurance and breakdown cover (this is to ensure the vehicle is safe, legal and has the appropriate cover).
4. Upon receipt of these (and conditional to everything being in order) we will approve the listing and it will appear on our site – simple.

What’s the process when someone books your vehicle?

1. An adventurer will select your vehicle and the dates they wish to book on the calendar within your vehicles profile page.
2. If these dates are available then the adventurer will be taken to a confirmation page where they will complete their booking.
3. They will either pay in full or put a 10% deposit down, with the remainder of the funds to be paid in full 6 weeks prior to the collection day. All moneys will be held by WeShamper and paid to vehicle owners one month in arrears, post vehicle collection. For example, if a vehicle is rented the first week of a month, the money for this rental will be paid at the end of the following month.
4. We will then contact the adventurer and ask them to provide a copy of their driving licence and send them a copy of the rental agreement. This will need to be agreed to prior to the collection of your vehicle.
5. When it comes to the vehicle collection date you will need to check the adventurers driving licence to ensure the person collecting the vehicle is legally allowed to drive.
6. You will also need to fill out a ‘vehicle damage and additional agreements’ form that both parties will need to sign, before the adventurer leaves you with the vehicle – a template and example of this can be found here.
7. Upon return of the vehicle a vehicle return form will need to be signed by both parties – templates and examples of which can be found here.

Please be aware, if you want to rent out your vehicle you will need to ensure you have the correct type of insurance. You will need to have ‘off road’ cover. This can be purchased with a one off annual premium, or as and when you need it for renting out (on a pay as you go system). We are more than happy to point you in the right direction regarding this, however, we are not an insurance company/advisor and you will therefore need to seek proper advice from your insurance provider. The booking process

1. Browse our range of vehicles from numerous points on the website.

Please be aware, WeShamper does not provide the insurance for the vehicles advertised on this site. All insurance policies are provided by the owners of the individual vehicles. WeShamper will check vehicle insurance statuses when they are uploaded onto the website and at appropriate intervals. From an adventurers points of view: 

You will pay the listing price of the vehicle, plus any additional charges for extra equipment if necessary (prices/charges may vary).

You will also be required to pay a 10% booking fee, payable upon checkout.
